Enjoy fast payments and low transaction fees
Following the announcement of the Crypto.org Chain Ecosystem last week, we’re excited to introduce another use case for our next-generation blockchain.
In addition to on-chain ERC20 CRO, Customers can now pay with native CRO on the Crypto.org Chain using Crypto.com Pay Checkout. Crypto.com Pay Checkout is available at hundreds of merchants including our own NFT marketplace*, and major ecommerce platforms**, including WooCommerce, Ecwid, OpenCart, NopCommerce, Oveit, and Prestashop.
Customers paying with native CRO are entitled to the following benefits.
- Up to 10% back in CRO on purchases, depending on the merchant^ (also available for payments made in the Crypto.com App or using on-chain ERC20 CRO)
- Faster payments and lower transaction fees compared to the Ethereum network
Paying with native CRO is easy using the Crypto.com Pay Check-out. Simply select Pay with any CRO Wallet, then choose Crypto.org Chain.
Crypto.org Chain is a fully decentralised, open-source, and permissionless public chain with high speed and low fees. It’s designed to help overcome challenges faced by existing blockchains, and to drive mass adoption of blockchain technology.
*Native CRO payments on the Crypto.com NFT marketplace do not qualify for CRO rewards.
**Crypto.com currently has no affiliation with the ecommerce platforms mentioned above.
^On-chain payment methods (Crypto.org Chain and ERC20) using Crypto.com Pay Checkout are currently only available for merchants in the U.K. or Europe.
